Handcrafted from English bone china, the "Details from Willow Gold" collection from Richard Brendon features decorative elements taken from antique Willow pattern china and is finished with a subtle gold rim.
The classic Willow pattern is an elaborate blue and white English chinoiserie motif from the 18th century. By incorporating these details, the collection pays homage to the past through contemporary design.
The 27cm Rimmed Dinner Plate is large with a thick raised rim on the outer edge. This plate can either be placed on top of the dinner plate as an accent piece, or standalone for smaller-portioned main courses. Bone china can be washed in a dishwasher - at a maximum temperature of 140°F. However, we would recommend hand washing any pieces with gold or platinum precious metals. Stubborn stains can be removed by soaking in a mild bleach solution for up to one hour without damaging the china. Scouring pads or abrasive washing agents must not be used. Tableware with a gold or platinum trim must not be used in a microwave.
